My Uncle is a Great Man and will be missed by many. This is dedicated to him.
We all have someone we love.
Sent to us straight from above.
Once we have them we think
They are ours to keep
When it's time for them to go
We sometimes stomp and scream.... No!
Our hearts ache so bad
Sometimes we are very very mad!
The hole they leave is deep
Some days all we do is weep
Other days are gray
We wish the pain would go away
Then it becomes clear
The reason we are here
To live and learn and grow
Because he loves us so
He gave his life
To stop the strife
Because of him
We will live again
God's own Son
Knows each one
He is waiting on the other side
His love is ours if we decide
He'll take us in his loving arms
Protected from all harm
I look forward till we meet again
At our journey's end
This life is not the end
